This is not a podcast about ranch.
Ranch has come up. More than once. But this is not a ranch podcast.
It's also not a parenting podcast, although we both have children. Or a marriage podcast, although we both have husbands. And it's certainly not a self-help podcast, because that would imply one of us has figured something out.
We have not.
So what is Pour Talk?
We're Meade and Jill. Two friends who decided to start a podcast for reasons that remain unclear.
Nobody was asking for a podcast. Nobody suggested we start one. Plenty of people suggested we didn't.
And yet, here we are. Two microphones, two very distinct laughs, and a growing community of loyal listeners we affectionately call our Pour People.
We're as surprised as anyone.
What can you expect?
Delicious cocktail recipes, questionable advice, strong opinions on things nobody asked about, and a weekly reminder that Jill and the English language are not always on speaking terms. Think of it as eavesdropping on two friends at happy hour. Except nobody is telling us to lower our voices, and now there's merchandise.

We can't promise you'll learn anything. We can't promise we'll stay on topic. And we absolutely cannot promise ranch won't come up again. But we can promise a good time. And a damn good cocktail.
